ABSA BANK CONTINUES TO EMPOWER TANZANIAN WOMEN

Minister of State, Office of the President, Finance and Planning Zanzibar, Dr. Saada Mkuya Salum (right), presents an appreciation award to the Head of Branch Operations of Absa Bank Tanzania, Ms. Mwilongo Irene Msungu (center), in recognition of the bank's contribution as the main sponsor towards launch of the Tanzania Women in Finance Association (TAWiFA), during an event held in Kizimkazi, Zanzibar recently. Extreme left is the Manager of Absa Zanzibar Branch, Ms. Rabia Aboud. This is one of Absa Bank's initiatives to empower women economically, alongside the recently launched Absa She Account, a special account for women.
