STANBIC BANK RELAUNCHES REVAMPED MBEYA BRANCH

Stanbic Bank Tanzania has relaunched its revamped branch in Mbeya in line with its mission to offer better services to its customers. “We are pleased to relaunch a revamped branch to the people of Mbeya,” said Ken Cockerill, the CEO of Stanbic Bank Tanzania.

“This revamp is part of our broader efforts to modernize our branch network across the country coupled with offering superior services to our customers.” Stanbic Bank currently has network of 10 branches and 34 ATMs located throughout the regions.

This is in addition to the bank’s mobile and internet banking services. The branch modernization efforts go hand in hand with that of its other physical channels. The bank is currently replacing its ATMs with the latest version of touch-screen ATMs.

So far, five new touch-screen ATMs have been installed in Dar es Salaam, and the next batch will go to Arusha and Mwanza, after which they will be rolled out to other regions.

“Our services do not only include renovations to the branches, but also include constant improvements in the way we do business in order to make banking with Stanbic easier, more secure and better able to meet the needs of our diverse customer base,” Mr. Cockerill explained. Stanbic Bank opened its doors in Mbeya back in 2000 and currently has about 5,000 clients.
