AKIBA COMMERCIAL BANK DONATES MEDICAL ITEMS TO MWANANYAMALA GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL

Dar es Salaam, 22 December 2025 – Akiba Commercial Bank Plc (ACB) has donated essential medical items to Mwananyamala Government Hospital as part of its end-of-year festive season initiatives aimed at supporting communities and strengthening public healthcare services.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Head of Marketing and Communications at Akiba Commercial Bank, Dora Saria, reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to giving back to society and supporting institutions that play a critical role in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of communities. She noted that the donation reflects ACB’s strong corporate citizenship values and its continued efforts to create a positive and lasting impact within the society it serves.

The donation was warmly received by Mwananyamala Government Hospital’s management and medical staff, including Halili Katani, Community Welfare Officer; Humphrey Mwesigwa, Specialist in Maternal Health; and Mbaruku Juma Mlinga, Orthopedic Specialist. They expressed sincere appreciation to Akiba Commercial Bank for the timely support and commended the Bank for its consistent and well-coordinated corporate social responsibility initiatives.
