Dar es Salaam, May 26, 2026 — Yas Tanzania has officially launched Yas Business, the new identity of its enterprise division, consolidating the company’s business connectivity and digital solutions under one unified brand aimed at accelerating digital transformation across Tanzania.
The unveiling marks a significant step in Yas Tanzania’s strategy to strengthen support for enterprises, SMEs, and public institutions through advanced technology solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, resilience, and sustainable growth in an increasingly digital economy.
Through Yas Business, customers will gain access to a growing suite of enterprise-focused solutions including SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT) services, managed solutions, and Tier 3 Data Centre infrastructure. Speaking during the launch event, Minister of State in the President's Office for Planning and Investment, Prof Kitila Mkumbo commended Yas Tanzania for its continued investment in enterprise digital infrastructure, noting its importance in supporting Tanzania’s industrialization and digital economy ambitions.
“Initiatives such as Yas Business play an important role in accelerating enterprise productivity, innovation, and digital inclusion across key sectors of the economy. Public-private collaboration remains essential in achieving Tanzania’s long-term development vision under Dira 2050,” said Prof. Kitila.
On his part, Yas Tanzania's Chief Executive Officer, Pierre Canton-Bacara said the launch of Yas Business reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to becoming a trusted technology partner for businesses and institutions across the country.

Yas Business is expected to support critical sectors including finance, logistics, manufacturing, education, and government services. The initiative aligns with Tanzania Development Vision 2050 (TVD 2050) and the Digital Economy Strategic Framework (DESF) 2024–2034, contributing to digital infrastructure expansion, enterprise digitization, and productivity growth.
Backed by Tanzania’s extensive network infrastructure, fibre connectivity, and customer experience capabilities, Yas Business is positioning itself as a comprehensive enterprise technology partner capable of securely connecting and digitizing operations across Tanzania while strengthening cybersecurity resilience and accelerating cloud adoption.
