STANBIC BANK TANZANIA INTRODUCES SME CENTRE


Stanbic Bank has launched a new centre which offers full range of banking services to SME’s to provide more convenient services to entrepreneurs.

The new centre dubbed Enterprise Direct, comes up with a wide range of value added features which will make it easier for clients, especially the medium sized enterprises or SME’s to make deposits wherever they are.

“The focus is on migrating clients to digital self-service channels to make it easier for the customers to transact,” Stanbic Bank’s Head of Enterprise Banking, Christopher Gilbert Mlay, said in a statement.

The centre would enable customers to access their bank account through their phones by calling a toll free number, or via their laptops or tablets, wherever they are, he said adding that the internet based electronic platform would enable customers to enjoy a full suite of self-service capabilities covering domestic and foreign payments.

“Stanbic Bank’s Enterprise Direct relationship management capability will deliver a set of products and inbound services that are currently available in the branches namely; query resolution, cross selling, borrowing and investing,” “Outbound services available under the new platform will include advisory services, cross selling, reactivation of dormant accounts and on boarding of new clients via telephone and email to support business growth,” he said
