DR. RAMADHAN DAU SWORN IN AS DAR ENVOY TO MALAYSIA

President John Pombe Magufuli swears-in Dr. Ramadhan Dau at State house in Dar es salaam on Wednesday.
President John Magufuli has sworn in Dr Ramadhan Dau, former chief of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), to become Tanzania's new ambassador to Malaysia.

The swearing-in of Dr. Dau at State House in Dar es Salaam came after about seven months since President Magufuli appointed him to the ambassadorial position.

Dr. Dau took over from Ambassador Dr Aziz Mlima who was appointed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.

Dr Dau holds a PhD in marketing from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, an MBA from the American University of Cairo and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Dar es Salaam.
