EXIM BANK TANZANIA LAUNCHES CALL CENTRE

Exim Bank Tanzania Chief Finance Officer, Selemani Ponda (2nd right) addresses reporters at a press conference to announce the launch of the bank’s new call centre service for its customers, as part of its strategy to deliver an exceptional banking experience in Dar es Salaam yesterday. He is flanked by the bank’s Head of Treasury, George Shumbusho, (2nd left), the bank’s Marketing Manager, Abdulhaman Nkondo (1st left) and the bank’s Senior Manager-Customer Service, Frank Matoro.
Exim Bank Tanzania has launched a new call centre service for its customers, as part of its strategy to deliver an exceptional banking experience while supporting its middle to corporate clients in the Wireless, Financial Services.

Speaking to reporters in Dar es Salaam yesterday, the Bank’s Senior Manager -Customer Services, Mr Frank Matoro said the launched Call Center Tele-services provides the bank’s clients with dedicated, hybrid world class customer relationships.

“Our customers will enjoy an exclusive call centre service staffed by a carefully selected, highly qualified and knowledgeable team to manage their accounts and assist them in facilitating their financial dealings from Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m and on Saturdays 8:30 am to 1:00 p.m through EXIM Call Center Number 0784 107600,’’ he mentioned

According to Mr Matoro, EXIM Call Center Excellence will be a game changer for businesses while adding : “Fighting to keep customers in today’s economy is paramount to EXIM Call Center Excellence distinction will help drive us to that end result,’’.

He said the service has been specifically designed to maintain powerful competitive advantages to fit for their customers’ requirements, lifestyle and prestige thus enhancing customer trust and confidence in Exim Bank Tanzania.

“The service will increase Exim’s market share through expanding its customer base, sustainable endeavours for strengthening the bank business relationship with its customers, seizing new growth opportunities and providing customers with new platform for their feedbacks in relation to our services we offer,’’ he said.

Speaking of the bank's first of its kind retail bond, the bank's Head of Treasury, Mr George Shumbusho said: " The offer was open to subscription on 23rd, November 2015 and closes on December 18th, 2015, which about 3-working days away.This is the first retail bond that is being traded on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange, designed to raise up to Tsh 15bn/ for Exim Bank. As a bank, we are also happy that we are playing a pioneering role to develop country’s retail bond market''.
