KCB BANK TANZANIA AND ZHSF SIGN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO ENHANCE HEALTHCARE ACCESS IN ZANZIBAR

Dar es Salaam - October 5, 2026; KCB Bank Tanzania and the Zanzibar Health Service Fund (ZHSF) have signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening healthcare service delivery in Zanzibar through innovative financial and technology-driven solutions.

The agreement, signed at the KCB Bank Tanzania Headquarters, establishes a framework for collaboration in key areas including member registration and enrolment, payment collection, banking and settlement services, technology integration, and the development of tailored financial solutions to support ZHSF’s mandate of strengthening healthcare financing and expanding access to quality healthcare services.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, KCB Bank Tanzania Managing Director, Mr. Cosmas Kimario, said the partnership demonstrates the Bank’s commitment to working with institutions that are addressing real challenges and improving people’s lives through innovation.

The partnership is expected to enhance convenience for ZHSF members by supporting more efficient registration and payment processes, strengthening settlement systems and enabling greater use of technology across the healthcare financing ecosystem.
