PRESIDENT MAGUFULI APPOINTS NIDA ACTING DIRECTOR GENERAL

President John Magufuli has appointed Andrew Wilson Massawe as Acting Director General for National Identification Authority (NIDA) today.

The selection came slightly over 24 hours since the post was left vacant after Dr Modestus Kipilimba, who was also Acting Director General, got appointed as Head of Intelligence Unit on Wednesday.

Prior to his appointment, a statement from state house said, Mr Massawe was Head of Information Technology at Bank of Tanzania (BOT).
