NIC BANK TANZANIA HARNESSING PRACTICAL SKILLS TO HIGHER LEARNING INSTITUTIONS

NIC Bank Executive Director, Mick Karima, speaks to students who visited the bank to see how it conducts its operations.  

Dar-es-Salaam, 27th March, 2019 - NIC Bank Tanzania Limited has hosted and provided banking services training among various high schools in Dar-es-Salaam.

Starting with a bank tour and elaboration of various functions subject to different departments within the bank, students managed to see on how NIC Bank operates and how the bank manages to stay on top of their effective operations and service delivery from customer experience to products development.

Speaking to the students, Mick Karima, NIC Bank Executive Director said that, “NIC Bank holds a great believe in the younger generations due to being the core of change on various industries, doing this for the past 5 years has been a great deed and we have seen a lot of success through out this program, Banking needs to deepen the roots on various markets and the best way to do it is by properly informing and deploying the younger generation. With this opportunity I believe you among the few will go and advocate on how reliable and convenient NIC bank operations and services are being professionally handled to delivering a great value to the community.”

Apart from the tour, they students had a question & answer session with the staff to more elaborate and get to understand on the banking sector.

“Thank you NIC bank for this wonderful opportunity for allowing us to be here and learn a lot about the banking industry at large, I do strongly urge other financial institutions to also deploy the same so as we can be highly exposed on what is happening on the real world along the school knowledge we get along. This has helped me realize so much that I can do regardless of my major studies things like money managing if I decide to run my own business” Said Mohamed Mohamed from Tambaza high school NIC Bank will continue with this program and looking forward to cooperate more participating institutions on the long run to deliver more value to the younger generation as the banks believe highly on investing in the future.
