VODACOM & STANBIC DONATE DESKS, PLANT TREES AT MAKULU PRIMARY SCHOOL IN DODOMA

Vodacom Tanzania Plc and Stanbic Bank Tanzania officials paid a courtesy visit to Dodoma Regional Commissioner, Ms. Rosemary Senyamule (centre) ahead of the arrival of the Twende Butiama Cycling Tour in Dodoma last week. As part of the initiative, Vodacom and Stanbic donated 100 desks and planted 1,000 trees at Dodoma Makulu Primary School. Moreover, 2,000 additional trees will be planted in open areas in the city. Ms. Kai Mollel, Head of Business Incubator from Stanbic Bank Tanzania delivers a financial literacy training at Dodoma Makulu Primary School last week as part of the bank’s CSR contribution to the Vodacom Twende Butiama Cycling Tour 2024. Together with Vodacom Tanzania, Stanbic Bank has donated 100 desks and 1,000 trees planted at the school in support of education and climate action initiatives.

The training is part of CSR activities associated with the Vodacom Twende Butiama Cycling Tour 2024 that will cover 12 regions for a period of two weeks. The school was also a recipient of 100 desks to support learning environments and 1,000 trees were planted to combat climate change donated by the two organizations.
