Azania Bank Limited's Managing Director Charles Singili introduces to members of the Tanzanian community in the United States of America the bank's new internet banking product known as Diaspora Banking, to enable nationals living abroad manage their finances back home.
The event, which was graced by President Jakaya Kikwete and a number of cabinet ministers, was held at the Marriot Hotel in Washington DC July 2, 2014.
The new solution will help attract more customers and will offer Tanzanians abroad convenience in remitting money directly to their accounts at home, according to the bank.
Mr Singili says that the product is a convenient and reliable way for Tanzanians abroad to send money back home and directly manage their bank accounts. It offers stress-free banking services, with clients transacting at their own time.
