EXIM BANK TANZANIA THUMPS PWC 5-2 IN FRIENDLY MATCH

EXIM Bank Tanzania FC popularly known as 'Innovation team' thrashed PWC 5-2 in a friendly match played at Karume Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

During the match that attracted several spectators, Exim Bank enjoyed a lion share of ball possession.

The victors broke the deadlock in the 20th minute through Lusajo Adam before Norbert Misana doubled the team's lead two minutes later.

After the break, PWC made changes and it paid off immediately as they pulled level with two quick fire goals in the 47th and 54th minutes of the game.

However, Exim Bank retreated and regained their lead through Misana, who scored twice in the 55th minutes, and the fourth in the 70th minute, before Rogers Timoth sealed the lead in the 85th minute.

Speaking shortly after the final whistle, hat-trick hero Misana said the match was rather easier as compared to their previous matches.

"I think we played much better as compared to PWC. Today our team was very much organised in the midfield and we took a full control of the game. We have played as a team throughout the match.

"We normally, do training every weekend. This trend of training on weekly basis does not only give us the fitness to beat every opponent who come our way but it also put us into a good shape," said Misana.
