ICEA LION CROWNS "KING OF THE COURSE" AS INSURANCE DAY CELEBRATIONS CONCLUDE IN ARUSHA

Arusha, Tanzania, June 27, 2026 – Insurance Day celebrations concluded in style with the ICEA LION King of the Course Golf Tournament, bringing together insurance professionals, business leaders and golf enthusiasts for a day of sporting excellence, networking and industry engagement.

Karim Jamal emerged as the overall winner to claim the prestigious King of the Course title. His victory earned him a fully sponsored trip to represent Tanzania at the King of the Course Finals, scheduled to take place in Mombasa, Kenya, this October. He also received additional prizes during the tournament's awards ceremony in recognition of his outstanding performance.

The event was attended by senior representatives from the ICEA LION Group, leaders of the Insurance Institute of Tanzania (IIT), as well as other distinguished guests and stakeholders from the insurance industry.
