The Government will sign a 1.46 billion US Dollars loan agreement with domestic and international lenders mid next month for construction of the standard gauge railway line from Morogoro to Makutopora.
The Minister for Finance and Planning, Dr. Philip Mpango said in Dar es Salaam yesterday that some domestic lenders had taken part to raise funds for the construction of the second phase of the railway line.
