NBC BANK FOCUSED TO IMPROVE SERVICE

NBC Bank has reinforced its stand to improve its services to its retail and business banking segment and pledged to provide highly innovative and professionally delivered services to its clientele.

The bank’s Managing Director Theobald Sabi, said in Dar es Salaam over the weekend NBC was poised to introduce in the market innovative products that augur with current customer needs.
“At the end of last year we launched NBC Business Clubs which targeted our customers operating small and medium scale enterprises, so far these customers have been enjoying fast service delivery in our branches, coupled up with preferentially low interest rates and a trimmed-down approval time for loans,” he said during a dinner party hosted in Dar es Salaam for NBC customers to solicit their feedback on the bank’s product and service menu.
He also mentioned the bank’s other popular product categories sailing the market, citing insurance, business loans, point of sale, cash deposit machines, online banking services, mobile banking and accounts for groups.
“ We thank our customers, we would not have made it to our current prestige had it not been for a clientele that remained loyal to and stood with us unwaveringly for 50 years, we are obliged to, and we shall always reciprocate this devotion by reaching out to our customers with services that rhyme with their expectations,” added Sabi.
NBC Head of Retail Banking, Filbert Mponzi said the bank was set to reclaim and consolidate its former glory, as witnessed by the recent launch of ‘Karibu Nyumbani’, a service that aims at recalling former customers of the bank who once had accounts but could not maintain them for various reasons.
Speaking at the same occasion, NBC Head of SMEs and Business Banking, Elvis Ndunguru said the commercial section was well-aligned on the track to keep improving products, mostly by firming up the card based payment system (POS)in order to bring services closer to home.
