STANBIC BANK LAUNCHES A NEW DIGITAL PROPOSITION – ACHIEVER BANKING

Head of Executive & Achiever Banking at Stanbic Bank Tanzania, Thereza Majinge (right) unveils a plaque to signal the launch of Achiever Transactional Account, a new proposition aimed at serving the mid-level salaried employees through Digital Banking solutions. AS part of its effort to provide unique banking services that meet the specific needs of Tanzanians, Stanbic Bank has launched a new proposition aimed at serving the mid-level salaried employees through Digital Banking solutions.

The proposition in the form of a transnational account called Achiever Transnational Account comes with a range of services comprising;-
  • Achiever Debit Card, for local and international POS/Online transactions
  • Achiever Save, a free savings account to encourage savings
  • Achiever Life – free embedded life cover
  • Achiever Online- 24/7 Digital Banking service which also includes, unlimited Mobile and Internet Banking access
  • Achiever Finance, offering quick personal loans and
  • iAchiever – which offers iPhone loans to purchase the iPhone of your choice at affordable monthly installments.
“This unique proposition offers a world of possibilities and convenience to the customer, making it more than just an ordinary account.” Said Thereza Majinge – Head of Executive & Achiever Banking at Stanbic Bank Tanzania during the launch event held in Dar es Salaam over the weekend.

“We created it with the needs and aspirations of a mid-level salaried employee in mind. It hence offers 24/7 access to funds through unlimited  internet and mobile banking, ability to transact online and at points of sale (POS) creating convenience for the customer,” she added

Apart from the proposition offering everyday banking services, the customer also gets Achiever Life, a free life insurance cover that is embedded in the account as well as a free Savings account.

Additionally, the customer who will subscribe to the Achiever Transactional Account can access the bank’s customer contact centre by calling 0800751111 free of charge for assistance in case they have any queries any day of the week or email: achiever@stanbic.com.
